Why Selling Software Features is Costing You Clients
107 - Why Selling Software Features is Costing You Clients
In this episode of the HighLevel Experience Podcast, host Vit Muller sits down with Molly Mahoney—digital marketing strategist, keynote speaker, and founder of The Prepared Performer—to unpack how to build a standout brand in a sea of "AI zombies," turn AI assistants into actual sales drivers, and package HighLevel in a way that sells outcomes, not logins. Molly shares tactical workflows, foot-in-the-door mini "apps," and her proven ascension model that blends white-labeled HighLevel (Star Funnels) with coaching and live support to help clients get real results.
From her Broadway-to-business journey to launching an AI content membership in 2021 (before AI went mainstream), Molly reveals how to inject human personality into AI content, validate offers fast, and leverage small in-person workshops and co-working hubs to spark high-intent pipeline—without overbuilding.

Profit Roadmap System™ for GHL Agencies
This is a unique business model for GHL Agencies looking to offer more scalable deployment of systems to clients, faster results and more profitability thanks to it's 'productised' approach.
It includes 10 distinct systems, each designed as a standalone module (snapshot). These snapshots are installed into your SaaS customer's accounts gradually, over time, one on top of the next one like pieces of a puzzle. This approach contrasts with a single, expansive custom projects, which often proves tougher to market and deliver.
Profit Roadmap™ System and it's 'gradual rollout' method leads to faster fulfilment, onboarding, and delivery of results for your SaaS clients.

you've been calling out the AI zombies.
Vit Muller:what would you say would be the fastest fix that you'd make
Vit Muller:to bring them back to life?
Molly Mahoney:don't let this zombie content eat your
Molly Mahoney:brains like a regular zombie.
Vit Muller:what would you say, like public speaking though, that's that's
Vit Muller:a whole another ball game, right?
Molly Mahoney:Yeah.
Molly Mahoney:We have a whole concept around that called elevating your awesome.
Molly Mahoney:communication styles.
Molly Mahoney:you may, feel that you need to be louder, but maybe you actually need to be
Molly Mahoney:softer so that you can bring people in.
Vit Muller:There's so many people who are putting out an offer and people
Vit Muller:buy into it, but then on the other end they get really shit service.
Molly Mahoney:If you don't deliver on what you've promised with this, then
Molly Mahoney:you will never be able to sell something else again because word will spread fast.
Vit Muller:what's cool about posting on your Facebook pages and all that,
Vit Muller:is it still improves conversion because buyers these days do so much
Vit Muller:research, so they will check you out
Molly Mahoney:Yeah, I totally agree.
Molly Mahoney:We call it building your library of content,
Vit Muller:what is a popular all-in-one marketing belief
Vit Muller:you think is flat out wrong?
Molly Mahoney:like the voice agents and the chat agents, I
Molly Mahoney:know how cool we think it is.
Molly Mahoney:I think it's really cool also.
Molly Mahoney:But cool does not sell as well as actually providing a result.
Vit Muller:Hello, everybody.
Vit Muller:Welcome to another episode on the High Level Experience Podcast.
Vit Muller:Our guest today is Molly Mahoney, a digital marketing strategist,
Vit Muller:keynote speaker, and the face behind the, Prepared Performer.
Vit Muller:She's the one mixing smart AI with real-deal human connection,
Vit Muller:none of that bland bot stuff.
Vit Muller:Fun fact, actually, before she was helping entrepreneurs rack up clients,
Vit Muller:she was literally on stage from New York to Vegas singing jazz and
Vit Muller:commanding audiences, the whole thing.
Vit Muller:So when she talks about grabbing attention, it's coming from a pro
Vit Muller:who's done it under actual lights.
Vit Muller:She's pulled in 39 million-plus views online, been featured in Forbes and Inc.,
Vit Muller:wrote a stack of books, and back in 2021, she launched an AI-focused content
Vit Muller:membership before AI was even a thing.
Vit Muller:Anyway, her and I, we met last year at Level Up Summit and,
Vit Muller:I knew we had to bring her on.
Vit Muller:She's been running HighLevel for about three years and a bit,
Vit Muller:bundling of her services, and today we're diving into three big ones.
Vit Muller:We're gonna be talking about how to build a standout brand in the
Vit Muller:sea of AI zombies, as she calls it.
Vit Muller:we're gonna be talking about how to spin up a team of AI assistants
Vit Muller:that actually sell for you.
Vit Muller:And lastly, we'll also be talking about how to create your own mini SaaS tools
Vit Muller:with AI that plug right into HighLevel.
Vit Muller:We're talking about foot-in-the-door offers all the time on the episodes.
Vit Muller:if you've been listening to this podcast, you know it's one of those most
Vit Muller:effective ways to have really effective foot-in-the-door offer, and I know
Vit Muller:that Molly has some really good ones,
Vit Muller:We're going tactical, real workflows, not theory.
Vit Muller:So please welcome to the show Molly Mahoney.
Molly Mahoney:Hello.
Molly Mahoney:I'm so grateful to be here.
Molly Mahoney:Thanks so much.
Molly Mahoney:We had so much fun chatting at the HighLevel event last year, so I'm
Molly Mahoney:stoked that we're here to chat again
Vit Muller:Yeah, we did.
Vit Muller:that was the, encore day on Friday.
Vit Muller:And everyb- everybody left in the morning and bunch of us stayed there for the
Vit Muller:special day, and that was a lot of fun.
Vit Muller:I think they took us to… It was an NH- NHL game, wasn't it?
Molly Mahoney:Yeah, hockey game.
Molly Mahoney:it was, it was wild.
Molly Mahoney:It was really fun
Vit Muller:You know what's funny?
Vit Muller:I don't even remember the game because, we were in the room with all the,
Vit Muller:cool people, so we're just talking.
Vit Muller:I don't
Molly Mahoney:Okay.
Molly Mahoney:That is exactly, my husband was like, "How was the game?" And I said, I
Molly Mahoney:think I saw no more than two minutes of the actual hockey game, but the
Molly Mahoney:rest of the, the whole experience and the energy was so awesome, and
Molly Mahoney:we had those, we were in like three different suites hanging out, chatting.
Molly Mahoney:It was really cool.
Molly Mahoney:We all had matching jerseys.
Molly Mahoney:It was
Vit Muller:It was epic, yeah.
Vit Muller:So if you guys are listening, if you're considering going to, Level Up this
Vit Muller:year, what Encore Day is, it's not cheap.
Vit Muller:you gotta pay a little extra, but tell you what, it's about who
Vit Muller:you're in the room with and the opportunity that, that is in there.
Vit Muller:I think if you're, like, signing up for HighLevel Dallas this year, you'll
Vit Muller:know, there's a bit of an upgrade.
Vit Muller:I think it's $1,000 or something for that day.
Vit Muller:But, the HighLevel team, you'll be hanging out with Shaun, the, the co-founders,
Vit Muller:with the, the senior management team, with, Diamond and Platinum
Vit Muller:SaaSpreneurs who, been there, done that.
Vit Muller:So you're literally in the room with people who are like, who are doing
Vit Muller:really well, and you get to hang out.
Vit Muller:So for me, it was great o- it was great experience and, yeah.
Vit Muller:NHL game, you can always watch it later in a replay, but the real, face-to-face
Vit Muller:opportunity to talk to people, network, those opportunities come and go.
Vit Muller:They don't always, present themselves, on, a-a-as you need them.
Vit Muller:So y- it's always good to be in those rooms and pay it,
Vit Muller:pay to be in those rooms.
Vit Muller:yeah.
Vit Muller:Well, let's do kick it off.
Vit Muller:let's get straight into it.
Vit Muller:you've been calling out, you've been calling out the AI zombies.
Vit Muller:So the brands churning out content, basically, the AI slope that, a content
Vit Muller:that looks kind of alive, but it feels that it's just too fabricated.
Vit Muller:I've got a question for you.
Vit Muller:What are the, first telltale signs that somebody's gone zombie mode, and
Vit Muller:what would you, what would you say would be the fastest fix that you'd
Vit Muller:make to bring them back to life?
Molly Mahoney:Yeah.
Molly Mahoney:Man, you know what I just thought of for the first time?
Molly Mahoney:I talk about AI zombies all the time, but this is the first time I've
Molly Mahoney:realized the AI zombie content isn't just like bleh and scary on its own,
Molly Mahoney:but it actually eats your brain.
Molly Mahoney:So don't let this zombie content eat your brains like a regular zombie.
Molly Mahoney:So here's…
Vit Muller:you mean like it's still playing on the dopamine aspect and
Vit Muller:it's still like a scroll stopping thing
Molly Mahoney:Yeah, but it's also like turning us into ugh, it's just, it's bad.
Molly Mahoney:So there's a few things that you can do.
Molly Mahoney:or let's talk about the actual ways to spot it.
Molly Mahoney:there's all these telltale written signs that it is AI zombie content.
Molly Mahoney:So just in the copy side of it, the things like the treasure trove,
Molly Mahoney:the it's not this, it's that.
Molly Mahoney:The problem is a lot of these things that AI is using, they were
Molly Mahoney:actually initially conventions that we wanted to use in marketing and
Molly Mahoney:psychology to get people to buy in.
Molly Mahoney:And so there's a lot of copywriters who are like, "No, these are the
Molly Mahoney:things we tr- you know, that were like our secrets." Yeah, so what
Molly Mahoney:do you, so there's, we have a whole list of all these do not say things.
Molly Mahoney:Do you do this?
Molly Mahoney:Do you have a list of all these do not say
Vit Muller:do.
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Molly Mahoney:What are some of your favorites?
Vit Muller:I, well, from top of my head, I can't think of right now
Vit Muller:for me in sport, but I've, 'cause this podcast, like when I prep,
Vit Muller:even the intros and everything, I actually, there's versions, right?
Vit Muller:So yeah, you continue to improve and you just keep adding
Vit Muller:into your prompt and whatnot.
Vit Muller:But it would be those, it would be those overused marketing, phrases that, like you
Vit Muller:said, are like really effective or used to be very effective, but obviously with
Vit Muller:the volume now that it's pr- proliferated across the internet with such a big
Vit Muller:volume because everybody has, is using those copywriting even though they don't
Vit Muller:even think about it that way, right?
Vit Muller:Like I would, I would have my, like a little, like a, a cheat code,
Vit Muller:like my, like way back, six years back, copywriting styles, problem,
Vit Muller:agitate, solution, all those
Molly Mahoney:Yeah, like the PAS is always the best, right?
Molly Mahoney:The, so if you don't know, if you're listening and you don't know what
Molly Mahoney:that is, the problem, agitate, solve is a copywriting convention that
Molly Mahoney:in some ways has become cliché.
Molly Mahoney:do you know the commercial for Life Alert?
Molly Mahoney:Do you know what that is?
Vit Muller:não
Molly Mahoney:it's a thing like, I think probably from the '80s, but there's this
Molly Mahoney:tool called Life Alert for people who are, n- not as physically abled anymore because
Molly Mahoney:they're a little older, and they wear this thing that's like an alarm they can
Molly Mahoney:click if they fall and they can't get up.
Molly Mahoney:And so the ad was, "Have you fallen and you can't get up?" and then it would
Molly Mahoney:say, "We know how hard it is when you f- when you find yourself in a situation.
Molly Mahoney:That's why we have Life Alert." So that's like the quintessential problem,
Molly Mahoney:agitate, solve ad. But that's-- it, it became cliché because it actually works.
Molly Mahoney:So there's some of these things like the PAS formula that I think we can
Molly Mahoney:still use because they're not quite as, verbatim, but a lot of them
Molly Mahoney:are really just a dead giveaway.
Molly Mahoney:I've seen so many people doing videos recently where they say, halfway through
Molly Mahoney:the video, they're like, "And here's the part nobody will tell you," and,
Molly Mahoney:"Here's the part nobody's talking about."
Molly Mahoney:And I'm like, okay." So there's ways that you can, as a human, human-
Molly Mahoney:humanize those phrases as well.
Molly Mahoney:But my two favorite ways to solve this problem are as follows.
Molly Mahoney:The first is we have a skill that we use in Claude and ChatGPT,
Molly Mahoney:wherever you're using your AI conversations, that is a copy checker,
Molly Mahoney:and it's like a quality control.
Molly Mahoney:So no matter what happens when I'm using my AI agents, they always end
Molly Mahoney:with this copy checker that has a huge list of things that I don't want
Molly Mahoney:included or a huge list-- and also some things that I do want included.
Molly Mahoney:So it always at the end is check, and it gives me the little green
Molly Mahoney:check mark inside my Claude account, like the copy checker has been run.
Molly Mahoney:I removed this many em dashes.
Molly Mahoney:I, it adds those things in there.
Molly Mahoney:So that's the first one on a written side.
Molly Mahoney:But as a human, I love to use AI to help us be more human.
Molly Mahoney:So if you have a script that AI has generated and it says, "Here's
Molly Mahoney:the thing nobody's talking about," don't read it just like that.
Molly Mahoney:Put some of your own personality into it.
Molly Mahoney:So I may take a script like that, and when it says, "Here's the thing nobody's
Molly Mahoney:talking about," I may say something like, "And listen, Linda, this is the part that
Molly Mahoney:you probably have not even thought about.
Molly Mahoney:It's something that is, really kind of kept secret, but I'm
Molly Mahoney:gonna fill you in right now."
Molly Mahoney:So that's the same thing as saying, "Here's the part
Vit Muller:it just sounds more like real, like more human.
Vit Muller:Yeah
Molly Mahoney:and as an actor, I w- I have a BFA in theater and dance, and
Molly Mahoney:when I would walk into my acting class when I was getting that degree, they had
Molly Mahoney:this giant chart on the wall, and this chart was like how to be Meryl Streep,
Molly Mahoney:like how to be a really amazing actor, written by Constantin Stanislavski.
Molly Mahoney:Do you know who that is?
Molly Mahoney:I wouldn't expect that you did.
Molly Mahoney:So he's like a very famous old a- acting theorist, and there's all of
Molly Mahoney:these things that you wanna keep in mind to become a really powerful actor.
Molly Mahoney:But the biggest thing was on the bottom.
Molly Mahoney:It said, "Work on one's self." So if you don't figure out how you actually
Molly Mahoney:communicate, if you don't figure out the little isms that you have…
Molly Mahoney:We have a glossary that all of our clients create their own glossary
Molly Mahoney:of the words that they use.
Molly Mahoney:Find your own cadence, your own humor.
Molly Mahoney:Like what are these things that you put in?
Molly Mahoney:If you don't have that figured out, you will become an AI
Molly Mahoney:zombie, and you won't even know it
Vit Muller:So this is interesting, right?
Vit Muller:So figuring it out, there's-- it's almost like, okay, so one way about it could
Vit Muller:be like this mechanical thing, like you're trying to figure out, how to talk.
Vit Muller:I almost think maybe it's the other way around.
Vit Muller:It's like just like, boost your own confidence.
Vit Muller:Once you feel confident, you just talk.
Vit Muller:You don't think what you're gonna say.
Vit Muller:you just talk confidently and being you, right?
Vit Muller:So then it just happens.
Vit Muller:And in, in the copywriting style, like we just talked about a, a minute ago, I
Vit Muller:was watching James Kemp, on his video, on his YouTube video they published up.
Vit Muller:I don't know if James Kemp.
Vit Muller:He's an Australian, coach to coaches.
Vit Muller:and I get an email from him every day and, I th- they're pretty
Vit Muller:well-written emails, but I thought he was us- using AI or something.
Vit Muller:But he literally made a YouTube video and he s- he says, "I've
Vit Muller:been diligent over the last…"
Vit Muller:I don't know how many years he said, but every day during, workday,
Vit Muller:I've been diligent at, sending out an email to my li- mailing list.
Vit Muller:And then, just his process was just recording, just record, voice record
Vit Muller:or using WhisperFlow, just talking freely and whatever that's generated,
Vit Muller:maybe just polish up a little bit, but don't run it through AI or anything,
Vit Muller:'cause we already know this stuff.
Vit Muller:And if you can… And stories are powerful, and oftentimes if you're
Vit Muller:trying to, type it out and you're trying to be like, again, like kind of like
Vit Muller:mechanical and engineer the story into it, you're just thinking d- like you're
Vit Muller:just thinking too much about it versus if you're just talk- talking, just talking
Vit Muller:with your mouth, just using WhisperFlow or like talking to somebody and you're not
Vit Muller:thinking too much about, how it sounds, just being you, just being comfortable.
Vit Muller:And I found his copy was really good, so I was wondering if maybe that's the way,
Molly Mahoney:Yeah, it's interesting that you bring up the confidence piece,
Molly Mahoney:'cause I don't know if you know this, but when I first started, I was a professional
Molly Mahoney:musical theater performer for a long time, and then I launched my company,
Molly Mahoney:The Prepared Performer, in order to help other singers to have a career like I had.
Molly Mahoney:So I was doing singing and career coaching for other performers.
Molly Mahoney:But what I did is in 2016, I switched everything, and rather than teaching
Molly Mahoney:performers to have a business, I started teaching business owners how to perform.
Molly Mahoney:And I launched a program way before I was doing the AI
Molly Mahoney:stuff called Camera Confidence.
Molly Mahoney:So the whole thing that I was actually doing was helping people to do exactly
Molly Mahoney:what you're talking about right now.
Molly Mahoney:And the big thing is a lot of people feel like they need to put
Molly Mahoney:on something in order to do that.
Molly Mahoney:But really, it's a, it's an… There's exercises you can go through to help you
Molly Mahoney:to feel more confident, because a lot of people may not feel confident just talking
Molly Mahoney:like that, and when they know that they're being recorded, they may like, g-g-g-g-g,
Molly Mahoney:freeze up and not speak as freely.
Molly Mahoney:So we find that if you can take conversations that you've had with
Molly Mahoney:someone else, that will free you up a little bit more, or you can actually take
Molly Mahoney:some time to really dig in and decide.
Molly Mahoney:We have a, a system called the Quesadilla of Awesome, where you
Molly Mahoney:figure out what makes you an awesome human, because everyone is awesome,
Molly Mahoney:whether they know it or not.
Molly Mahoney:And when you can see that written out in a thing that makes it real, it can
Molly Mahoney:help you to feel more confident if you're not already feeling confident
Molly Mahoney:when you first start speaking that way.
Vit Muller:Yeah, that's great.
Vit Muller:I like it.
Vit Muller:That's awesome.
Vit Muller:Now, what would you say, like public speaking though, that's that's a
Vit Muller:whole another ball game, right?
Vit Muller:you can be yourself, but maybe you're yourself and like you're unique.
Vit Muller:Everybody's unique.
Vit Muller:But, when it comes to public speaking or on a video or on a stage, you
Vit Muller:still have to maybe like talk louder.
Vit Muller:be more expressive because you want to e- engage with the audience, right?
Vit Muller:So, what would you say to somebody's listening to this like, "Oh, but then
Vit Muller:would that still be myself or am I putting on…" like what's the fine line?
Vit Muller:Because you can be y- you can be yourself, but you still have to put the…
Vit Muller:And if when I'm talking on these podcasts, when I'm intro… I, I do notice like I
Vit Muller:gotta crank up my energy a little bit.
Vit Muller:Maybe it's just also that I had a lunch now and I had a coffee, but I gotta crank
Vit Muller:up my energy a little bit and like just be a bit more energetic about it because
Vit Muller:I know that people are listening to it, and if I was just sluggish, then, I
Vit Muller:don't know what I'm trying to say, but
Molly Mahoney:Yeah.
Molly Mahoney:We have a whole concept around that called elevating your awesome.
Molly Mahoney:So it's not about putting on an energy from somewhere else, it's really
Molly Mahoney:pulling that energy from within you.
Molly Mahoney:And this is something also that I learned back in college,
Molly Mahoney:and it used to drive me crazy.
Molly Mahoney:I hated the fact that this was true, that you want to learn all
Molly Mahoney:these different techniques and strategies and communication styles.
Molly Mahoney:you may, feel that you need to be louder, but maybe you actually need to be
Molly Mahoney:softer so that you can bring people in.
Vit Muller:there's that too, where you can be-- You gotta be louder,
Vit Muller:but you also know where you're gonna… Because it's about waves.
Vit Muller:If it's monotonous, then you're gonna lose people.
Molly Mahoney:Yeah.
Molly Mahoney:So I used to say that it's like you wanna have a vocal coloring box,
Molly Mahoney:and then you want to be able to pull out of all those different colors.
Molly Mahoney:So what they would teach us is that you would practice something like making
Molly Mahoney:these acting choices, but then when you actually got into performance,
Molly Mahoney:you would let all those choices go and allow yourself to be natural.
Molly Mahoney:And I would get so annoyed 'cause I'd be like, "Then why did I go through and make
Molly Mahoney:those choices before if I'm just gonna be natural now?" But the thing is, it's
Molly Mahoney:just if you learn… if you're a martial artist and you learn a bunch of different,
Molly Mahoney:I don't, I'm not a martial artist, so I don't know what they're called, but,
Molly Mahoney:moves, and then you have to be, like a butterfly, sting like a bee or whatever.
Molly Mahoney:you've gotta be able to respond like an improv, but you have all
Molly Mahoney:of these skill sets underneath it.
Molly Mahoney:As a speaker, I have these five Ps of the prepared performer that help
Molly Mahoney:you so that you know you have these different strategies you can pull from,
Molly Mahoney:but you're malleable enough and fluid enough to make it not sound like a robot.
Molly Mahoney:'Cause if you come into it like a robot, you're gonna get hit off course, and
Molly Mahoney:then the robot's just gonna fall over.
Molly Mahoney:But you need to be able to dance with the AI, is what we used to
Vit Muller:it's a fine craft and you have to-- This is the, the five stages of
Vit Muller:competence where, you know, you don't-- you know what you don't know, you know
Vit Muller:what you know, you know-- You don't know that and then what is the last one?
Vit Muller:it's just basically, it's just, think about neural, like
Vit Muller:synapses in your brain, guys.
Vit Muller:Like just visualize the brain and how it's all intertwined, right?
Vit Muller:The little, pieces of energy flowing between the neurons, whatever.
Vit Muller:And those are all pathways and how memory is accessed, how your brain
Vit Muller:works, but also how habits are formed.
Vit Muller:And it just becomes so second nature that you don't even think about it.
Vit Muller:So like with what you said, right?
Vit Muller:Like you had, theory and you had, you s- you-- It's when you start, any,
Vit Muller:any subject, matter of expertise.
Vit Muller:Like you gotta, you go- you gotta learn something and there's a way to do it, and
Vit Muller:so you're kind of like being a bit robotic about it, how you're practicing it.
Vit Muller:But you gotta get the reps and it just becomes so ingrained that you don't even
Vit Muller:think about it at the end of the day, and that's where you wanna get to, right?
Vit Muller:So I think that's what you, that's what you're talking about.
Molly Mahoney:I haven't thought about bringing in those five stages
Molly Mahoney:of competence, but that's such a good example that I'm probably
Molly Mahoney:gonna use forever now, so thank you.
Molly Mahoney:I will shout you out.
Vit Muller:Yeah, no, you're
Molly Mahoney:I think that's-- it's such a good point, and there's so many things
Molly Mahoney:that I have learned throughout my life that I went through that, like from dance
Molly Mahoney:to playing piano, playing guitar, right?
Molly Mahoney:there's different things that I'm sure all of us have experienced
Molly Mahoney:as we've become closer to being a, quote-unquote, "expert" in it.
Molly Mahoney:And then at the end, once you're a, quote-unquote, "expert," you realize
Molly Mahoney:that everyone's a beginner and we're all of them, no one's really an expert.
Molly Mahoney:But you have to go through those phases to feel that confident in it where
Molly Mahoney:you truly can, make that magic happen.
Molly Mahoney:I love it
Vit Muller:What's really cool is, hearing you talk about, your background as an
Vit Muller:actor and how you're bringing it back.
Vit Muller:you're still leveraging from those experiences way back even
Vit Muller:though it's no longer your career.
Vit Muller:I assume you don't do it anymore or maybe you are, I don't know, but
Molly Mahoney:Very rarely.
Molly Mahoney:I love to emcee a good, like, fundraiser.
Molly Mahoney:I'm, I have a couple of boards that I'm on and some… Last year we did an
Molly Mahoney:'80s themed gala for the theater that I'm on the board of, and I emceed as
Molly Mahoney:a 1980s PE teacher, and it was like a full SNL skit the whole entire night,
Molly Mahoney:but that's very rare that I do that now.
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:'Cause, it's really interesting, how like different, paths or
Vit Muller:different, careers people have.
Vit Muller:Some people have one career and some people switch.
Vit Muller:Like I, my, my background is I used to be a cook.
Vit Muller:I used to be a chef.
Molly Mahoney:Oh, no way.
Molly Mahoney:Cool
Vit Muller:and so what I'm noticing now is just like my attention…
Vit Muller:Well, it's not even, attention to detail.
Vit Muller:I was gonna say more about, like there's always something.
Vit Muller:Like I'm always-- part of it is just being workaholic, purely because, we are
Vit Muller:entrepreneurs and you just gotta do it.
Vit Muller:but also part of it is I always like to think about, I don't
Vit Muller:know, it's just like hard to rest.
Vit Muller:It's like
Molly Mahoney:Well, and there's so many metaphors in cooking also.
Molly Mahoney:Like I-- The phrase that I use with our clients is that you have to season your
Molly Mahoney:AI assistant or season your AI agent so that it has the right secret sauce, right?
Molly Mahoney:So there's so many metaphors within everyone.
Molly Mahoney:Like whoever's listening to this, whatever your past life has been,
Molly Mahoney:bring those metaphors and those stories forward because like you mentioned,
Molly Mahoney:stories are really how people learn.
Molly Mahoney:Stories are really how people connect, and AI is so good at helping us to pull
Molly Mahoney:those stories out and to weave them back in if you use it strategically.
Molly Mahoney:So really
Vit Muller:Exactly.
Vit Muller:Like for me, one of those would be, when you're working in a commercial
Vit Muller:kitchen, you're either doing a prepping or you're cooking or you're serving
Vit Muller:or you're plating or you're cleaning.
Vit Muller:There's always something.
Vit Muller:Like you never-- you should never be standing still in the kitchen.
Vit Muller:If you are, you're not really, maximizing your full potential.
Vit Muller:And so when I'm working now, like if it's setting up GHL account or
Vit Muller:building a campaign for client or doing some custom project, it's
Vit Muller:always thinking like, what else?
Vit Muller:Or like hearing a customer, having maybe a bit of experience maybe
Vit Muller:with customer support or something.
Vit Muller:It's like, okay, well, what could have… what could be different?
Vit Muller:Or what could be… It's always thinking.
Vit Muller:I don't know if it's
Molly Mahoney:Or improved upon, like the constant
Vit Muller:always.
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:Because innately it's more, it maybe it's also driven by I don't wanna, I don't
Vit Muller:wanna have people like thinking bad about me, so I always trying to over-deliver.
Vit Muller:Maybe that's too.
Vit Muller:But yeah, it's interesting how your careers shapes and certain, habits,
Vit Muller:behaviors, as well as personality.
Vit Muller:let's spin it to HighLevel then.
Vit Muller:Good segue.
Vit Muller:you have, you bundle HighLevel with your services, right?
Vit Muller:so like I was interested to know how are you packaging that so that
Vit Muller:clients buy outcomes and not just a, a, a software like a login, can you
Vit Muller:like walk me through like the price, the onboarding, the moment they first
Vit Muller:kinda go like, "Oh, damn, this works"?
Molly Mahoney:Yeah.
Molly Mahoney:And I, this was something I really struggled with.
Molly Mahoney:I paid for HighLevel for an entire year at the 497 level, not realizing I
Molly Mahoney:could've been paying for the 97 level, because I wasn't doing anything with it.
Molly Mahoney:But I paid for it 497 level thinking that's what I needed.
Molly Mahoney:But I was so confused about to explain the difference between buying
Molly Mahoney:the software and then if it came as a bonus and then the affiliate.
Molly Mahoney:I could not wrap my brain around it.
Molly Mahoney:And I don't… I- it's wild to me how confused I was in the beginning
Molly Mahoney:because now, don't say this to anybody else, but I would pay so much.
Molly Mahoney:I cannot believe how much value we get out of that 497 a month.
Molly Mahoney:it is unbelievable
Vit Muller:they're not doing enough.
Vit Muller:They're not, but I would say they are not, marketing it strong enough.
Vit Muller:That's one beef I've n- noticed.
Vit Muller:I go on, on, I-- Okay, yes, there is API, it's fully, you got the SaaS configurate,
Vit Muller:but there's all the little nuances and I think they could do better job.
Vit Muller:I don't know, it's almost like they don't try, hard enough to get people on 497.
Vit Muller:Have
Molly Mahoney:Well, and I think also there's so many different use
Molly Mahoney:cases for it, which makes it tricky.
Molly Mahoney:So that's where they really rely on us to market.
Molly Mahoney:So here's-- Yeah.
Molly Mahoney:here's our journey with it.
Molly Mahoney:So I created a white label called Star Funnels, and so it is all branded.
Molly Mahoney:It's very cute.
Molly Mahoney:It matches my crazy pink and star brand.
Molly Mahoney:And what I have done is we give it away as a bonus for $1.
Molly Mahoney:So the $1 is very important because that allowed us to get people to
Molly Mahoney:get their credit card in so that as they do more on the back end with
Molly Mahoney:it, I don't get charged for their extra things that they're buying.
Molly Mahoney:So we give them a $1 bonus, but $1 a month, and then
Molly Mahoney:they get a $1 a month credit.
Molly Mahoney:But they're paying us at least 97 a month to get it.
Molly Mahoney:So our content club, which is our entry level program, which we're-- is
Molly Mahoney:a program where we help you to create content with AI, and it's content that
Molly Mahoney:converts, not like, crazy, goofy content.
Molly Mahoney:It's very strategic to help you to bring in leads.
Molly Mahoney:So every month you get to get on a call with me.
Molly Mahoney:We walk through this together.
Molly Mahoney:We create your content together.
Molly Mahoney:And then in between that call, you get access to all of this
Molly Mahoney:whole HighLevel account with all of our pre-built templates.
Molly Mahoney:So we give you all of these workflows.
Molly Mahoney:We give you landing pages, everything you need to bring in leads.
Molly Mahoney:That then-- So that is like already if you were gonna go get your own
Molly Mahoney:HighLevel account, it would be $97.
Molly Mahoney:So we make it like valuable by having this coaching program as a part of it.
Molly Mahoney:But we have them-- Usually people buy it through us and
Molly Mahoney:then they get it on the back end.
Molly Mahoney:So that's our starting point, and then we have an ascension ladder, which
Molly Mahoney:I can explain too if that's helpful.
Vit Muller:That's really good because, yeah, like you could just
Vit Muller:be reselling HighLevel under your own brand, but that would just
Molly Mahoney:and so what I ha- do is I have, if you go to, if you go to
Molly Mahoney:starfunnels.io, like you can see what my… if I was gonna sell it on its own,
Molly Mahoney:it has everything that you would get with HighLevel, but then guess what?
Molly Mahoney:The bonus when you buy Star Funnels, you get the Content Club as a bonus.
Vit Muller:Right.
Vit Muller:So you can spin it either way, but basically, you know how it is.
Vit Muller:It's like you should be selling outcomes.
Vit Muller:You shouldn't be selling the drill, sell the hole.
Vit Muller:So your content program is selling the actual outcome, right?
Molly Mahoney:And the point of the content program, even still, like it
Molly Mahoney:would be selling the drill if I said, "Well, create content." But the point of
Molly Mahoney:the content club is to generate leads.
Molly Mahoney:So that's the outcome,
Vit Muller:And it's how you, and it's how you package up
Vit Muller:that, value proposition, right?
Vit Muller:So that's what it's about.
Vit Muller:I really like it.
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Molly Mahoney:Yeah.
Molly Mahoney:And then from there, what I'm really obsessed with, and I think people miss
Molly Mahoney:this all the time, is that when you have a solution that's at a lower level,
Molly Mahoney:like a $97 solution or we have a bunch which we could talk about, I call them
Molly Mahoney:activation-- buyer activation apps.
Molly Mahoney:So they're mini apps that are paid lead magnets that get people
Molly Mahoney:to want to buy more from us.
Molly Mahoney:And the main thing that we do is we give them a win.
Molly Mahoney:Like they start with a problem, we bring them a solution, and
Molly Mahoney:then we create a new problem.
Molly Mahoney:So we're always highlighting that gap.
Molly Mahoney:So the gap after the content club is, okay, now you have these leads,
Molly Mahoney:how do you actually sell to them?
Molly Mahoney:And so then if you upgrade from there to our AI Stars program, in there
Molly Mahoney:we give you a whole bunch of tools, we give you strategies that will
Molly Mahoney:help you to sell, and we have weekly high-level support calls in there.
Molly Mahoney:So we have a human being who's on a call every week giving you support
Molly Mahoney:in how to use Star Funnels, or we help you to build your own agency.
Molly Mahoney:So that's a 297 level where they can pay 297 a month, get the content club
Molly Mahoney:so they get the monthly calls, then they get another monthly call that's a
Molly Mahoney:more advanced AI call and another deeper Q&A with me that's a more advanced Q&A.
Molly Mahoney:And the point of that is to help you to build an actual
Molly Mahoney:business and make sales with AI.
Vit Muller:Brilliant.
Vit Muller:So right now, what's shifting, and I've had a few people ask me about
Vit Muller:it 'cause I interview so many people, asking me like, "Hey, Vit, I'm noticing
Vit Muller:something's different about HighLevel and, it's harder to sell HighLevel,
Vit Muller:like resell HighLevel and all that."
Vit Muller:And I'm like, "Yeah, it's changed, right?" Like last six months, HighLevel
Vit Muller:is marketing directly to business owners.
Vit Muller:and if you just
Molly Mahoney:and people know what it is.
Molly Mahoney:I think in the beginning you could trick people, and I don't think
Molly Mahoney:tricking people is ever a good idea, but it worked for some agency owners
Molly Mahoney:to act like it was actually their own tool, not a white label of HighLevel
Vit Muller:So what this highlights is what, what the recommendation's been
Vit Muller:from the beginning is, sell them on like what you're actually going to provide
Vit Muller:for the business, what's the value.
Vit Muller:now I was curious to know, so with these add-ons, these, mini
Vit Muller:lead magnets that, r- present a solution to a new problem because
Vit Muller:it's like peeling the onion, right?
Vit Muller:do you do it like a flywheel or do they learn about these additional
Vit Muller:add-ons as they go through the journey?
Vit Muller:Meaning could you use one of those, let's say, halfway through you're
Vit Muller:exposing your problem, could you also do it as a front-end offer?
Molly Mahoney:Yeah, yeah.
Molly Mahoney:So usually those are front-end offers is the way that we're doing them,
Molly Mahoney:that they'll-- But they'll find out about those first, and that's
Molly Mahoney:how they get into our ecosystem.
Molly Mahoney:So a couple of examples.
Molly Mahoney:When Sora came out, RIP, I loved Sora so much.
Molly Mahoney:But when Sora, the AI video app came out, within three days, I had an app called,
Molly Mahoney:Sora Spark that gave you 200 different AI video scripts that were customizable.
Molly Mahoney:So you'd put in your thing that you wanna sell, and then it would w- the
Molly Mahoney:AI would write a video script for you.
Molly Mahoney:I sold it, I think, for $27 maybe, I can't remember.
Molly Mahoney:But we had 130 people buy it right away because we were tapping
Molly Mahoney:into a trending why now belief.
Molly Mahoney:So before I even built the app, I did a post that said,
Molly Mahoney:"If I was to put together…"
Molly Mahoney:The first one I did was like, "If I was to put together a full guide
Molly Mahoney:on how to use Sora, would you want it?" Sora had just come out.
Molly Mahoney:Obviously, I didn't have a guide 'cause I had hardly even logged into the tool.
Molly Mahoney:But I knew I could learn it and then put together that guide.
Molly Mahoney:Then I said, "If I was to create an app that would write your Sora scripts for you
Molly Mahoney:so that they don't only, grab attention, they're also setting you up to convert."
Molly Mahoney:And I had hundreds of people comment on that, and we sold
Molly Mahoney:130 of them in three days.
Vit Muller:This is awesome.
Vit Muller:Again, she goes to that confidence and goes to the,
Vit Muller:the world we live in right now.
Vit Muller:It's like you don't have to be an expert in anything and have, years of experience
Vit Muller:to then go out and put an offer.
Vit Muller:Because everything is just matter of time, investing time, and
Vit Muller:everything is pretty much guaranteed.
Vit Muller:as long as you put time and you research it, and because we have AI,
Vit Muller:we've-- we can learn about anything.
Vit Muller:So it's just if you just put your time to it, you can be an expert fairly quickly.
Vit Muller:Well, knowledgeable fairly quickly.
Vit Muller:Expert is based on knowledge.
Vit Muller:Experience comes a bit later.
Vit Muller:But
Molly Mahoney:Exactly.
Molly Mahoney:Yeah, that-- I think that's such a cool connection, the e- the
Molly Mahoney:expert and the experience is where you really become an expert.
Molly Mahoney:And what's awesome, and well, what's a problem first before what's awesome,
Molly Mahoney:is I think a lot of people will take their true expertise, put it to the
Molly Mahoney:side, and then try and use AI to teach them the knowledge, forgetting that
Molly Mahoney:they have this expertise over here.
Molly Mahoney:So even like in your example, as a chef at that level, you have
Molly Mahoney:a crazy level of expertise in, high-pressure, detailed work.
Molly Mahoney:Because if you put too much salt in something, like you could have
Molly Mahoney:someone throw, v- throw a fit.
Molly Mahoney:So that translates so well into what you're doing in this line of work.
Molly Mahoney:And so making sure that we don't push our actual expertise to the side, but
Molly Mahoney:we weave it into what we're doing with that knowledge that we can quickly learn.
Molly Mahoney:I- I've been saying to my clients recently, I think the best thing that
Molly Mahoney:AI has given me is my ability to learn quickly, because it, it is wild how fast
Molly Mahoney:you can process information and distill information so that you can not, not only
Molly Mahoney:teach other people about it, which is huge, but actually do something with it.
Molly Mahoney:it's mind-blowing to me
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:And so that's what I was trying to get to with my point is like when you said, Sora
Vit Muller:just came out and you didn't wait until you've gone through it and really learned
Vit Muller:it end to end and then put out an offer.
Vit Muller:Because everything-- first of all, everything's moving really fast,
Vit Muller:so you have to be faster, with the market as, as it's shifting.
Vit Muller:but then also second, what you've done there is you've tested the market
Vit Muller:to see if there's even a demand, which it- there's always bill es- but
Vit Muller:there will always be one, especially in this market right now, right?
Vit Muller:'Cause people like want, want to be ahead of things.
Vit Muller:So that's brilliant.
Vit Muller:like that's a actually like just really good recipe for a lot of us,
Vit Muller:and I fall into that second category.
Vit Muller:I take a little bit longer with things and I got to work on that.
Vit Muller:And I'm sure there's a lot of others that might be listening as well that
Vit Muller:like just more of a perfectionist.
Vit Muller:They're just trying to get the ducks in a row a lot more before they get
Vit Muller:out in the market with something.
Molly Mahoney:So we call that type of post a validation post because it gets
Molly Mahoney:the buy-in from people so that they believe it's something that they want.
Molly Mahoney:It helps to activate the energy on social.
Molly Mahoney:And also if you get like zero response to people wanting it,
Molly Mahoney:it could mean one of two things.
Molly Mahoney:It could mean nobody wants it, or it could mean that you just need to do some more
Molly Mahoney:on your social or talk to more people to really get a true response from people.
Molly Mahoney:But this is exactly what HighLevel does, right?
Molly Mahoney:They do this with the skateboard method by giving us that entry-level offer that
Molly Mahoney:we trust now that it's gonna continue to get better and better as they build
Molly Mahoney:more, more magic behind the scenes.
Molly Mahoney:And they've lived up to that, which is why we trust it.
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:And as long as you're doing it, you're doing it for, with the right reasons.
Vit Muller:Because this is the problem in the marketing world, right?
Vit Muller:There's so many people who are putting out an offer and people
Vit Muller:buy into it, but then on the other end they get really shit service.
Molly Mahoney:Yeah, so this is actually the most important piece.
Molly Mahoney:If you don't act-- If you don't deliver on what you've promised with this, then
Molly Mahoney:you will never be able to sell something else again because word will spread fast.
Molly Mahoney:So you do have to have confidence, you have to have stick-to-it-iveness,
Molly Mahoney:you have to really commit to bringing that solution and know
Molly Mahoney:that you have a path to get there.
Molly Mahoney:And the more that you do it, the more comfortable you'll get, and the more
Molly Mahoney:your people will know that it's real.
Molly Mahoney:Like we did our first founding member r- offer in 2016 with that
Molly Mahoney:program called Camera Confidence.
Molly Mahoney:We sold it for $47.
Molly Mahoney:All I had was an empty Facebook group and a spreadsheet.
Molly Mahoney:My spreadsheet mapped out all these different lessons, which I
Molly Mahoney:taught live, one a day for 30 days.
Molly Mahoney:The last time we sold that offer, we sold it for $5,000 because it had
Molly Mahoney:gained that much value over time.
Molly Mahoney:But the people who bought in for 47, they still had access.
Molly Mahoney:So we always reward our founding members as well
Vit Muller:Yeah, I like that.
Vit Muller:No, that's really good.
Vit Muller:So like I've done something like that last year.
Vit Muller:I just didn't, I didn't a follow-up on, on it.
Vit Muller:I just put a post up and I said, "Who'd be interested if I put together a, a
Vit Muller:snapshot system in a box on how to, run your own podcast with everything
Vit Muller:that we've done for this podcast?"
Vit Muller:We've got it like really dialed in on the back end.
Vit Muller:And I got, I got a response.
Vit Muller:I got a bunch of people commenting like they would be interested, and
Vit Muller:then, life moved on and I just, I di- didn't pri- I, I didn't prioritize
Vit Muller:it enough, so I didn't went ahead and actually put an offer out t- together.
Vit Muller:But it was good to, to validate that, yeah, this strategy works.
Vit Muller:And I think that interest might still be there if I went ahead
Vit Muller:and put something together.
Vit Muller:But,
Molly Mahoney:And I think sometimes people are afraid to even ask the question
Molly Mahoney:like that because they're like, "Oh, well, I wouldn't have time to do it now." But
Molly Mahoney:you could-- So you could launch it in, three years, come back to those people.
Molly Mahoney:We had a post that literally two years went by and I hadn't replied on this one
Molly Mahoney:post, and I had one of my good friends and team members, Tim, go in and reply
Molly Mahoney:to people, and someone responded and was like, it's been two years, man."
Molly Mahoney:And Tim said, "No time like the present." So don't let that stop you.
Molly Mahoney:Should you get back to people sooner?
Molly Mahoney:Obviously, yes.
Molly Mahoney:But don't let that stop you from putting things out there.
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:this just falls into the, the, what we started talking about at the
Vit Muller:beginning is, the AI slope and just being uniquely uni- uniquely you.
Vit Muller:And I was-- I'm interested, to see what you think 'cause you've
Vit Muller:got a podcast as well, right?
Molly Mahoney:Okay.
Molly Mahoney:Can I tell you a little funny story about this?
Vit Muller:yeah, but just, I just wanted to segue from what I was
Molly Mahoney:okay.
Molly Mahoney:Sorry, Aria.
Molly Mahoney:I ha- I have had multiple podcasts over the years,
Vit Muller:Okay, so here's what I'm thinking.
Vit Muller:as the time goes on and more people will be creating AI-generated content, however
Vit Muller:good it may be, I think the demand for real, like raw, ideally face-to-face
Vit Muller:or like a real voice experiences will increase, and I think there's gonna be
Vit Muller:a second wave of that scamming where the podcasts will increase in demand
Molly Mahoney:A million percent, and they don't go away.
Molly Mahoney:So people can go back and listen to my podcast that I launched in
Molly Mahoney:2013, called "The Prepared Performer Podcast," which is for actors.
Molly Mahoney:It's like a totally different thing than what I'm doing now.
Molly Mahoney:But if they wanna validate that I am like a real human who's actually
Molly Mahoney:been doing this, that podcast lives on as me speak- I'm very much more
Molly Mahoney:over the top and cheese ball musical theater in that podcast but it's there
Molly Mahoney:and it's real, so I totally agree
Vit Muller:it's proof of your legitimacy
Molly Mahoney:And the journey too, like sometimes people
Molly Mahoney:wanna get rid of old content.
Molly Mahoney:I have a video on my YouTube channel that has 100,000 views
Molly Mahoney:of me teaching how to sing a C scale, how to sight read a C scale.
Molly Mahoney:And I think should I remove that 'cause I'm not doing that on YouTube anymore?
Molly Mahoney:But it shows the journey.
Molly Mahoney:It shows that, where I started to where I am now.
Molly Mahoney:So I
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:This is interesting.
Vit Muller:So this is similar to like organic content, right?
Vit Muller:Where if you're posting something on Facebook page and you're a small business,
Vit Muller:generally you won't get much reach unless you have a verified page where you might
Vit Muller:get a little bit more, or ultimately unless boost the post and run ads.
Vit Muller:But, what's cool about posting on your Facebook pages and all that, even if you
Vit Muller:don't get much reach, is it still improves conversion because buyers these days do
Vit Muller:so much research, so they will check you out and you will get more con… So I say
Vit Muller:that to customers like, oh, you know what?
Vit Muller:You're like, "Hey, you gotta start doing videos and, you can
Vit Muller:leverage the heck out of it.
Vit Muller:You can do podcasts, you can leverage it into everyth- in all the other
Vit Muller:formats." And then you post it out there and then they go, "Oh yeah, but like I
Vit Muller:didn't really get any likes or didn't get much com- comments or thing- things
Vit Muller:like that." I'm like, "Yeah, it's, it's really hard to compete these days.
Vit Muller:There's just so much." But there's still value because people will ch- those that
Vit Muller:are shopping around, they will wanna see that you are actually legitimate.
Vit Muller:And how would you say, like what would be the, the definition
Vit Muller:of legitimate business?
Vit Muller:I think, for me anyway, is they have a website, they have some content
Vit Muller:on social media that talks about the problems they're trying to solve.
Vit Muller:If they have engagement, that's great too.
Vit Muller:But as long as it's genuine content, that to me definitely adds more faith to
Vit Muller:going ahead with that potential vendor as opposed to somebody else who has
Vit Muller:zero and it just looks too suspicious.
Molly Mahoney:Yeah, I totally agree.
Molly Mahoney:We call it building your library of content, because once you build that
Molly Mahoney:library and the way that we do it, you figure out who that perfect person
Molly Mahoney:is that you're speaking to, right?
Molly Mahoney:You're having that one-on-one conversation, and you're
Molly Mahoney:instilling buying beliefs.
Molly Mahoney:So exactly what you just said, when they come to your p- profile or your page or
Molly Mahoney:whatever, and they see this content, if they've already been thinking about buying
Molly Mahoney:from you and the content on your accounts can squish objections, can instill
Molly Mahoney:beliefs about you, can instill beliefs about the product that you're selling,
Molly Mahoney:can instill beliefs about the world that we're living in that lead toward
Molly Mahoney:buying your product, like chef's kiss.
Molly Mahoney:I don't care that I had one video that reached 39 million and
Molly Mahoney:Facebook paid me $30,000 for it.
Molly Mahoney:It was a fun, cool experience.
Molly Mahoney:But what I really care about is the fact that my content, even if I get one I
Molly Mahoney:know it is instilling a belief that's helping people to get closer to buying.
Vit Muller:Because somebody's buying product or s- or service to
Vit Muller:fix, as a way to, as a way, as a solution to their problem, right?
Vit Muller:So they wanna know that they're gonna be working with somebody who actually
Vit Muller:is worth their salt, is somebody who is actually understand their trade.
Vit Muller:and I also think this is why even more podcast and video will be even
Vit Muller:more important because text-based, it, it's, it's a lot harder to,
Vit Muller:for text-based content to have, to have credibility unless it's backed
Vit Muller:by a video or backed by actual credibility like, awards or something,
Molly Mahoney:Can I say something about that actually?
Molly Mahoney:'Cause, okay, so I, we, our text content actually performs better
Molly Mahoney:on my personal profile, in, better is a relative term, but better
Molly Mahoney:in terms of reach and engagement.
Molly Mahoney:But what I think actually really helps it is the fact that people can go anywhere,
Molly Mahoney:they can see that I've done podcasts like this, they can see that I'm a human
Molly Mahoney:that moves and talks and is not only AI.
Molly Mahoney:Then when they read my content, they have that proof of humanity already there.
Molly Mahoney:Or I'm
Vit Muller:so that's the… Mm-hmm.
Vit Muller:Sorry.
Vit Muller:Yeah
Molly Mahoney:No, yeah, like I'm speaking on stage, then they read my content.
Molly Mahoney:They're connecting it to the fact that they've met me as a real human
Molly Mahoney:or seen me on stage as a real human, so it makes your written content that
Molly Mahoney:much more powerful because they have it matched with that fact that they,
Molly Mahoney:they now can trust that you're a human
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:And it's important that you brought that context because,
Vit Muller:yeah, it's not like a blanket rule.
Vit Muller:It's like if you start putting out blog articles, text-based, then it won't work.
Vit Muller:It will, but only, I think only if you already had the credibility
Vit Muller:in the marketplace, established.
Vit Muller:If you haven't, then I think it's even more important to start with video and
Vit Muller:like podcasts first, and then, Like you go Gary Vee, yeah, I would definitely just
Vit Muller:read a simple plain text Twitter post or whatever X post, and they all hold value.
Vit Muller:I don't need to see his v- him on a video.
Vit Muller:But that's Gary Vee, right?
Vit Muller:he's built that credib- like same as
Molly Mahoney:he's built so much content that is like him on
Molly Mahoney:the street and stuff like that.
Molly Mahoney:It's not all polished, "I am doing a video," right?
Molly Mahoney:You've seen him responding to people.
Molly Mahoney:You've seen that, so you, you trust like who it's coming from as a human.
Molly Mahoney:Such a good point.
Molly Mahoney:Yeah, I
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:what I was really impressed by the way, as I was, like, eating my lunch
Vit Muller:and I was just looking at a couple more reels of, you and stuff, I
Vit Muller:actually… I just sliding reels.
Vit Muller:It wasn't all just you on the reels.
Vit Muller:There was literally people talking about you and your program.
Vit Muller:wow, that's, that's the ultimate.
Vit Muller:Do you know that you've got people talking about you very po- in a very positive way?
Vit Muller:I'm sure
Molly Mahoney:I do actually.
Molly Mahoney:I'm so grateful.
Molly Mahoney:Like even this weekend we did a, we did an event here c- at my house.
Molly Mahoney:We have spa- an event space here, and we did an event called Camp CoWork.
Molly Mahoney:I don't know if you saw this, but it was a two-day event where we built out their
Molly Mahoney:AI operating system, and we're doing these now with small groups, so 10 people max.
Molly Mahoney:And one of our awesome members, her name's Kiri, and she was coming to our
Molly Mahoney:house for the first time, and she did a video like, "Why am I in California?"
Molly Mahoney:And went through this whole thing about why she was coming to the event and
Molly Mahoney:what she had learned from me before.
Molly Mahoney:And it was-- I was so touched that she did that event, but also it gave her that
Molly Mahoney:proximity and let her community know, oh, Kiri's like really taking this seriously.
Molly Mahoney:They now wanna learn from her also.
Molly Mahoney:I'm grateful when our clients do those types of videos on their own.
Molly Mahoney:I'm grateful when my team repurposes videos that they do here and all that.
Molly Mahoney:So yeah, I think that's a big piece
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:And it's good to be a lifelong student just to showcase I'm not, be all know all.
Vit Muller:It's lo- showcasing lifelong student and investing in up- upskilling.
Vit Muller:So your customers see that and it's like, "Wow, yeah, we're working with
Vit Muller:somebody who is investing as well." I was gonna ask you about those mini,
Vit Muller:mini groups, because back when I was in Australia when we were living in Canberra,
Vit Muller:and I saw what Sarah, Sarah Cordiner,
Molly Mahoney:Oh yeah
Vit Muller:right?
Vit Muller:So what she's doing and what you're doing and, I used to run a fitness
Vit Muller:business, so I used to like run groups, but it was- wasn't, it wasn't
Vit Muller:talking and running a workshop.
Vit Muller:It was, "Come to the park and we'll lift kettlebells and I'll do… I
Vit Muller:don't know, I'll put together a, a workout and I'll train you guys."
Vit Muller:But it's the still the same thing.
Vit Muller:you're getting a group together and it's real and they get an outcome real time
Vit Muller:there, and it's heavily leveraged, right?
Vit Muller:As opposed to doing one-to-one.
Vit Muller:So I'm a big fan of that.
Vit Muller:I just… and I was… Last year, I was like, I was scoping
Vit Muller:some venues in Canberra.
Vit Muller:There's like a really cool venue, innovation- a Canberra innovation,
Vit Muller:center, and they just, refu- refub the whole level four and it's like
Vit Muller:corporate offices that you can lease.
Vit Muller:But they also had a co-working space upstairs, and you can be
Vit Muller:a member for $100 a, a month
Molly Mahoney:wait.
Molly Mahoney:What is it called?
Vit Muller:Canberra Innovation, CBrIN.
Vit Muller:Can- Jesus, hang on.
Molly Mahoney:Innovation Centre
Vit Muller:CBrIN.
Vit Muller:Are you going to Canberra or something?
Molly Mahoney:No, but I-- This is what I want to create.
Vit Muller:Canberra Innovation Network, that's what it says.
Vit Muller:So they do government grants and then they help, like they've got like incubators
Molly Mahoney:cool
Vit Muller:but they also have a co-working space.
Vit Muller:And w- so, I had this… I never really acted.
Vit Muller:Again, this is just me.
Vit Muller:I'm the opposite and the, I've got to work on it.
Vit Muller:But, the membership was $100 a month to be able to, to be able to go there and
Vit Muller:work out of that s- place one day a week.
Vit Muller:So four times in a month I could go there and do use one of their
Vit Muller:hot desks and just, I, and I just ended up just working from home.
Vit Muller:It was just more comfortable from my home office setup because I got all
Vit Muller:the, crazy computers and monitors.
Vit Muller:But what, what I realized later is that membership actually allowed me to book one
Vit Muller:of their conference rooms all the way to the big one that you could seat 50 people
Molly Mahoney:Dude, I'm so glad we're talking about this because this is my
Molly Mahoney:actual dream is to have, I wanna- I've called it a center for creativity.
Molly Mahoney:I want like a giant building that has podcast studios and like a, a workout or
Molly Mahoney:dance space and like a maker studio and a, an event where people can come together.
Molly Mahoney:I have goosebumps everywhere.
Molly Mahoney:I'm
Vit Muller:a nice coffee shop and
Molly Mahoney:Yeah, exactly.
Molly Mahoney:A coffee shop and a wine bar so my husband and I can play
Molly Mahoney:with our jazz band at night.
Molly Mahoney:He used to run a coffee shop in New Orleans, like the whole thing.
Molly Mahoney:But I'm so obsessed with finding other places like this because
Molly Mahoney:it shows me what's possible.
Molly Mahoney:So thank you so much for mentioning this.
Molly Mahoney:I think it seems so cool
Vit Muller:All right.
Vit Muller:I'll introduce 'cause the C- the CEO is a mate of mine.
Vit Muller:so y- the only downside
Molly Mahoney:perfect, it's such a perfect balance.
Molly Mahoney:There's another one I heard about in Culver City called Blackbird, and
Molly Mahoney:it's such a perfect balance because it has the membership model that we use
Molly Mahoney:with HighLevel and with our programs combined with the in-person space.
Molly Mahoney:So when you're talking about being, the human interaction is gonna become even
Molly Mahoney:more important, like that is what I wanna do, is combine all these things together.
Molly Mahoney:Ah, so good.
Vit Muller:The-- And okay, so here's a strategy for you guys listening.
Vit Muller:This is another, another company, and I think these guys are global.
Vit Muller:I forgot the name.
Vit Muller:it'll come back to me.
Vit Muller:But they have a co-hosting, like a space, but like really nice.
Vit Muller:Um, they have, they have the concierge.
Vit Muller:So as you, as, as you enter it, it looks very corporate.
Vit Muller:There's a concierge.
Vit Muller:they make you a coffee.
Vit Muller:And then they'll ask you like, "Who are you g- you are-- who are you
Vit Muller:here to see?" It's almost like you go to a lawyer's practice, right?
Vit Muller:So they got the girls there at the concierge.
Vit Muller:They ask you like, "Who are you here to see?" And then a friend of mine,
Vit Muller:she, she's a real estate, a buyer agent, so she had one of her…
Vit Muller:Like she had an office there.
Vit Muller:She would do that.
Vit Muller:so initially I just went and had a meeting with her there.
Vit Muller:But then as I was there, the other lady, she just she asked me, "Do you run a
Vit Muller:business and all that?" I'm like, "Yeah." "Do you have an office?" "Yeah, I do, but
Vit Muller:I'm interested to…" So she walked me around and all the nice rooms, but then
Vit Muller:she said, "Oh, we also have this, board meeting room, and we run like workshops."
Vit Muller:And then like I was like, "Oh, cool.
Vit Muller:And what if I wanted to just run a workshop here?" And then she says, "Oh,
Vit Muller:yeah, what would you run it about?" I'm like, "Oh, I do this AI stuff and
Vit Muller:HighLevel." I didn't say HighLevel.
Vit Muller:I just say, all-in-one sales marketing for businesses and all that.
Vit Muller:And she says, "Oh, yeah, that would be awesome.
Vit Muller:would you host one for us?
Vit Muller:would you run one for us?" I'm like, "Yeah, for sure, yeah.
Vit Muller:How much would you charge me for it?" And she goes, no, we wouldn't charge
Vit Muller:you anything. We would actually in fact promote it to our members and then, we
Vit Muller:wouldn't pay you anything, but we would, we would look up, we would give them
Vit Muller:some coffees and everything, and it's just a value add for our member base."
Vit Muller:I'm like, "Wow." So I ran one and that there was 20 people rocked up and I'd
Vit Muller:had a presentation ran it for an hour.
Vit Muller:It was really good.
Vit Muller:So imagine, and this is talking to you guys listening, imagine in your local
Vit Muller:area, especially if you've got, a decent sized city, there is, at the bare minimum,
Vit Muller:there should be a chamber of commerce.
Vit Muller:But, if you live close to a bigger town, a bigger city, there for sure will be a
Vit Muller:co-working space or something like that.
Vit Muller:And who goes to these co-working spaces?
Vit Muller:Usually solopreneurs, entrepreneurs, or startups who have a team, but
Vit Muller:they don't have, they don't, they are not quite ready yet to have
Vit Muller:their own dedicated like building.
Vit Muller:So they hire out one of these offices and that's where they
Vit Muller:work, and they all aggregate there.
Vit Muller:So you can go there.
Vit Muller:You can be a member.
Vit Muller:You can hang out with people during their breaks, sip coffees.
Vit Muller:A lot of times these, if it's like a s- a proper co-working place like
Vit Muller:the one in Canberra, they actually put on networking events and they
Molly Mahoney:Yeah, and that's really like the relationships w-
Molly Mahoney:are where everything comes together.
Molly Mahoney:I think it's such a skill set that people don't recognize they,
Molly Mahoney:they should take advantage of.
Molly Mahoney:if you're building a high-level business or we're really focused on helping
Molly Mahoney:people to be AI consultants right now, and this is like a brilliant strategy
Molly Mahoney:is to get out there and, people used to do, I don't know if they call it
Molly Mahoney:this over where you are, you live, but they'd call it like a lunch and learn.
Molly Mahoney:You would go into an office and, right?
Molly Mahoney:Same kind of thing.
Molly Mahoney:But there are companies like this that are needing value.
Molly Mahoney:They're needing educators, so good.
Molly Mahoney:Yes
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:So yeah, it's, we're going through a good flow.
Vit Muller:I had a whole bunch of questions to ask you, but you know, this
Vit Muller:is all valuable stuff, right?
Vit Muller:we already… I hope you guys are taking notes because we already, we
Vit Muller:already sharing some actual, practical strategies that you can implement.
Vit Muller:Just don't be me who don't, fully act- Like I honestly, I have done it.
Vit Muller:I had those 20 people.
Vit Muller:I'd done that workshop.
Vit Muller:I knew about the bigger venue at the Sieber in space that I could have
Vit Muller:w- had 50 people and I just didn't.
Vit Muller:I never really get around to do it, and it's a regret that I have.
Vit Muller:locally now in Czech Republic where I'm at, there's places in Prague,
Vit Muller:there's places in Ostrava, which is a big, big city, 30 minutes away.
Vit Muller:So I definitely will go there, but I could have done it last year already,
Vit Muller:and I could have ha- and get this, like last year was even better than now
Vit Muller:because it was still even more novelty than it is now with the AI stuff.
Vit Muller:So I could have easily put together a three-hour, for $50 a person or
Vit Muller:something just so I can cover some, car pays and food and just get a catering
Vit Muller:company, whatever, and have pe-pe- 50 people in a room and just talk about,
Vit Muller:AI employee, different features, and do a live demo in front of everybody
Vit Muller:and just get everybody's jaw drop.
Vit Muller:I know it works.
Vit Muller:I've done it at BNI.
Vit Muller:I applied it.
Vit Muller:So yeah.
Vit Muller:Anyway, it's there.
Vit Muller:It's out there for taking, and I think I just wasn't confident enough for
Vit Muller:whatever reason I didn't, pulled it off.
Vit Muller:But I know that you're doing it.
Vit Muller:I know that Sarah's doing it, and I know it's working really well for you guys.
Molly Mahoney:Show up.
Molly Mahoney:I
Vit Muller:do it, right?
Vit Muller:'Cause you c- you can get people in a room for 50 bucks easy, right?
Vit Muller:And you, your premi- the premise is come along and learn about how
Vit Muller:to implement AI in your business, three-hour thing, and then the
Vit Muller:upsell from there is a no-brainer.
Vit Muller:You say it's a 14-day trial and, and then we'll help you with the
Vit Muller:setup and Bob's your uncle, right?
Vit Muller:As they say in
Molly Mahoney:and then even at the event like that, you can say, "Great,
Molly Mahoney:I'm gonna give you all the templates.
Molly Mahoney:How do you access the templates?
Molly Mahoney:Use this free trial.
Molly Mahoney:We'll build it out while we're here together." you can do it workshop
Molly Mahoney:style, and then they're actually building in it with you right there
Vit Muller:Yeah, exactly.
Vit Muller:Just be mindful of when it comes to templates, guys.
Vit Muller:obviously, using snapshots is what we're talking about here.
Vit Muller:make sure you build one that really well, because otherwise
Vit Muller:it's scaling a dump truck on fire.
Vit Muller:I luckily never had to experience it because of my nature, I'm
Vit Muller:so pr- much of a perfectionist.
Vit Muller:My snapshot's been known to be really good.
Vit Muller:And then, shout out to, Michael Pacitto, who is like, another really, as nerdy
Vit Muller:as me, even more nerdy maybe than me.
Vit Muller:the local shit talker as he labels himself, but he's a good guy.
Vit Muller:he goes deep into document…
Vit Muller:Do you know Michael?
Molly Mahoney:I'm just trying to see.
Molly Mahoney:The name is so familiar, but now that you say the
Vit Muller:Michael Pacitto.
Vit Muller:So he's got, he's all about documentation of snapshots, right?
Vit Muller:'Cause the moment you are scaling and if you now have 100 sub-accounts, drop
Vit Muller:a snapshot in the 100 sub-accounts and, if your customers, if you don't have
Vit Muller:certain things properly un- un, locked, maybe your workflows are not locked, and
Vit Muller:then they or their employees go in, they start filling w- fiddling with those
Vit Muller:workflows, implementing to their own needs, and then you're not aware of it.
Vit Muller:Maybe you roll out a new version over it, you overwrite.
Vit Muller:there's so many different ways how this could go wrong very quickly.
Vit Muller:I've heard of somebody who rolled out a sub-account, a snapshot to 100
Vit Muller:sub-accounts, and then they had to… they couldn't overwrite with the new versions.
Vit Muller:They literally had to go through every single account and fix things manually.
Vit Muller:You're talking hundreds of hours that, can put you out of business, frankly.
Molly Mahoney:yeah.
Molly Mahoney:It's true.
Vit Muller:but
Molly Mahoney:now that we've sufficiently scared everyone
Vit Muller:Gee, yeah, that was mine.
Molly Mahoney:It's true.
Molly Mahoney:But if you start with a very basic le- even if you don't put a template in there,
Molly Mahoney:but like a very-- one of the things we start with is just like a, like a Linktree
Vit Muller:Yeah, something simple.
Vit Muller:Yeah
Molly Mahoney:simple.
Molly Mahoney:don't worry that you need crazy levels of things.
Molly Mahoney:we even have in the AI agent, in the marketplace, you can go, we have an
Molly Mahoney:agent named Cora, who is a course coach, and so it's a voice agent that you just
Molly Mahoney:click, you can install p- as a part of a template or part of a snapshot, or it
Molly Mahoney:just install on its own, and then you have a voice agent set up, which can
Molly Mahoney:you imagine people coming to an event for $50 and they leave with a customized
Molly Mahoney:voice agent that coaches their clients?
Molly Mahoney:They would lose their mind.
Molly Mahoney:And most people don't know that those things are so possible.
Molly Mahoney:So as someone who is listening to this and you're, at a high-level
Molly Mahoney:expert, that's a really easy idea that you could implement right away
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:I actually put together like a funnel like two years ago called,
Vit Muller:Free Digital Business Card.
Molly Mahoney:Okay, yeah
Vit Muller:t- three years, three weeks ago or something, HighLevel rolled out.
Vit Muller:Now it's, you just do it through the QR codes and it saves interoperable.
Vit Muller:I'm like, "This is awesome." So back then what I did is just a single, like
Vit Muller:a landing page template, like a webpage template, and it just had lots of these…
Vit Muller:Actually it was a website and then each page was part of the website, and then
Vit Muller:I just changed the URL for everybody.
Vit Muller:But it was that you just fill up the form.
Vit Muller:We still had to do it manually, so it was about 15 minutes of time to put it,
Vit Muller:because we also create cool little like a visual graphics in Canva so that we can,
Vit Muller:we could send it to them and it's kind of like the packaging with a bow tie.
Vit Muller:It's like they get an email like, "Hey, here is your thing.
Vit Muller:Here is the link, share it." and then the upsell was, "Hey, by the way, so
Vit Muller:now that you've got it, if you want, we can enhance this digital business
Vit Muller:card for you that it'll actually start collecting leads for you.
Vit Muller:All you need to do is sign up to an account and we'll upgrade you,
Vit Muller:we'll upgrade your business card."
Molly Mahoney:There's the gap.
Molly Mahoney:I like it.
Molly Mahoney:That new problem.
Molly Mahoney:It's so
Vit Muller:There you go.
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:So what are some lead magnets that, that you've tried that work really
Vit Muller:well, if you don't mind sharing?
Molly Mahoney:Yeah.
Molly Mahoney:Oh my gosh, we have so many lead magnets, and we'll change it up depending
Molly Mahoney:on where I'm speaking or what I'm, promoting after the lead magnet, right?
Molly Mahoney:But we have, for example, if you go back to the old dusty versions of lead
Molly Mahoney:magnets, we have the Ultimate Social Selling Guide, and it's a 46-page
Molly Mahoney:PDF that walks through basically what we would do in a webinar and then
Molly Mahoney:positions the opportunity awesome, in an awesome way to move forward with us.
Molly Mahoney:But it's really good and really detailed.
Molly Mahoney:The thing is, I have found that doing PDFs as lead magnets is
Molly Mahoney:really a good way for people never to actually use the lead magnet.
Molly Mahoney:So we love to create things that are living.
Molly Mahoney:They're like, it's like an app that they can opt into,
Molly Mahoney:and then they want to use it.
Molly Mahoney:So we have a dream activator that's really cool that helps them
Molly Mahoney:paint the dream of their future.
Molly Mahoney:We have this amazing perfect person profile app that when people come
Molly Mahoney:in, they answer just a few questions, and it creates this super juicy
Molly Mahoney:profile of their perfect person.
Molly Mahoney:And because it's an app like this, they can create multiple perfect people, which
Molly Mahoney:then sets them up to be able to create their content in a more powerful way
Vit Muller:Brilliant.
Vit Muller:So I know that PDFs are dead, right?
Vit Muller:Nobody's, nobody's-- especially the attent- the attention, people's
Vit Muller:attention time is, at a all-time low.
Vit Muller:People don't have time.
Vit Muller:Now, with AI, everything is just so much more instant.
Vit Muller:Why would somebody, get a PDF of somebody where they could just talk to
Vit Muller:ChatGPT and, have it more interactive?
Vit Muller:that's dead.
Vit Muller:Now, the next one is courses.
Vit Muller:I know that, completion rates of courses, like, in general, the
Vit Muller:statistics is, you're talking about couple of percents, and there are some
Vit Muller:edge cases, but in general, course completions are, statistically very low.
Vit Muller:So to me, it just sounds like-- and and in general, let's talk about
Vit Muller:the purpose of a lead magnet, right?
Vit Muller:if the purpose of a lead magnet was just to collect somebody's email
Vit Muller:address, then I think you failed, right?
Vit Muller:Because you, you've collected their email address, but you haven't
Vit Muller:created any positive experience for them if that lead magnet that they
Vit Muller:got was either too time-consuming or it was just not good enough, right?
Vit Muller:So it just almost sounds like now you have to kind of focus on more like what?
Vit Muller:Like more interactive, more instant, outcomes on the back of those,
Molly Mahoney:And the other thing is if you create a lead magnet
Molly Mahoney:that's too valuable, you've also failed because then you've done a
Molly Mahoney:disservice where they think they have everything they need in this free gift.
Molly Mahoney:And we all know, especially in the world of AI, the human interaction is
Molly Mahoney:the real impact on the other side too.
Molly Mahoney:And there's no way you could put enough value into something that someone
Molly Mahoney:downloads for free that it's gonna bring them a real result on the other side.
Molly Mahoney:So we always say you have to have both an intention and an objective, and
Molly Mahoney:the intention is what you want them to get as a big win from your heart,
Molly Mahoney:like you want them to get this big win.
Molly Mahoney:The objective is that you're clear about the strategy of what the next step is.
Molly Mahoney:So is the next step that you want them to buy a mini upsell?
Molly Mahoney:Like you could have a mini app, and then you have a video on how to use the app.
Molly Mahoney:Like that could be a really easy upsell on the back end.
Molly Mahoney:Is it that you give them that mini app that they're finding major value in, and
Molly Mahoney:then the upsell is like to book a call?
Molly Mahoney:And the call could be free, but they're investing their time in that call,
Vit Muller:You-- that is great that you're bringing it
Vit Muller:up because conversion, right?
Vit Muller:A lot of times people think it's a monetary exchange, but conversion
Vit Muller:is not always monetary exchange.
Vit Muller:Upselling is not always upselling for somebody to open a credit card.
Vit Muller:You're upselling for them to take the next step and in the…
Vit Muller:I've actually built something, I put it in a spreadsheet.
Vit Muller:I create like a little a points matrix.
Vit Muller:So it's about lead scoring, so you got lead score, lead grading, and then you
Vit Muller:got qualification, and then you also have, in, like the, the funnel, like awareness,
Vit Muller:consideration, and decision, and then looking at your content and remarketing
Vit Muller:that content through, let's say, emails, through an automation workflow, like
Vit Muller:a long-term se-sequence of emails.
Vit Muller:And then you mix up, different pieces of emails, usually p- problem,
Vit Muller:agitate, solution style, like email copy to here is a video as a solution
Vit Muller:or here is an article as a… But, mixing up, mixing up the content.
Vit Muller:So when I've done a lot of research into this, if somebody is in decision
Vit Muller:mode, they are more likely to look at things like pricing pages,
Vit Muller:comparisons, and case studies.
Vit Muller:If somebody is in awareness mode, they are more likely to read
Vit Muller:articles and just watch your videos.
Vit Muller:And then if somebody is in consideration mode, then that's something in between,
Vit Muller:maybe FAQs and things like that.
Vit Muller:So if you actually create a campaign that is a bit of a mix of all three,
Vit Muller:then hypothetic- but then logically, you could assign point value against the
Vit Muller:trigger link that goes to the resource and then give it a different point
Vit Muller:value based on that, and then you can have an AI that, well, not even AI.
Vit Muller:I'm actually, by the way, I'm actually a big fan of using automations because
Vit Muller:not everything needs to be AI because
Molly Mahoney:Agreed.
Molly Mahoney:Agreed.
Molly Mahoney:Yeah
Vit Muller:But with good automations, you can have one automation that
Vit Muller:will then escalate it if somebody did click on this link and
Molly Mahoney:Love that
Vit Muller:30 days they've done it, then it can actually surface that up
Vit Muller:for you, and then you wake up and you get this email like a silver platter
Vit Muller:like, "Hey, by the way, these three people, they have engaged with this
Vit Muller:type of content that is decision-based content in the last 14 days.
Vit Muller:You should ring them up."
Molly Mahoney:That is such a good idea.
Molly Mahoney:I love that.
Molly Mahoney:I love it.
Molly Mahoney:It's similar how, we talk about in creating content that you're hitting
Molly Mahoney:the why… We use this thing called the, I call it the tree of beliefs.
Molly Mahoney:So it starts with who they are as a human being, the why me content.
Molly Mahoney:That's more awareness-based content.
Molly Mahoney:Like we match it up with those different, we say awareness,
Molly Mahoney:consideration, purchase, retention.
Molly Mahoney:So in addition to the decision phase where they're making a purchase,
Molly Mahoney:then there's another phase beyond that, the retention phase, when
Molly Mahoney:they're gonna stay or buy again.
Molly Mahoney:But I think assigning those values to that, even as a, a filter or
Molly Mahoney:a sifter, 'cause once you start to bring in a lot of leads, ah,
Vit Muller:Hmm.
Molly Mahoney:it can be so tricky.
Molly Mahoney:Like, okay, great, now I have 1,000 people to talk to.
Molly Mahoney:What the heck do I do now?
Molly Mahoney:I love that.
Molly Mahoney:That's such
Vit Muller:I think what I was gonna say as well, with the conversion event where
Vit Muller:somebody gave an email, they got this, but then the upsell is to now book a call.
Vit Muller:So like what is more effort from their point of view, right?
Vit Muller:Email, giving an email is less effort than booking.
Vit Muller:The actual act of booking, going through the widget and looking at
Vit Muller:their calendar and booking so that now they have invested a lot more,
Vit Muller:lot more presence to doing that.
Vit Muller:and then actually jumping on the call.
Vit Muller:So it's like a really good way to quali- it's al- also like you could design it
Vit Muller:in that way if you're trying, if you're selling high ticket to really qualify
Vit Muller:people, add extra roadblocks even.
Vit Muller:there's just like this is where I get like really excited because this is like
Vit Muller:the nerdy stuff, like the science of it.
Molly Mahoney:And I love that you differentiate the difference
Molly Mahoney:between booking the call and actually showing up for the call, because
Molly Mahoney:there's a whole bunch that you can do to help them to actually show up.
Molly Mahoney:And then when they're on the call, we have people that are like, "Yeah, I
Molly Mahoney:booked a call. It went really well."
Molly Mahoney:And I'm like, "Great, did you make a sale?" "Well, not yet, but we're
Molly Mahoney:gonna follow up." I said, "Did you make an offer?" And they're like, "Oh,
Molly Mahoney:well, I'm gonna send it via email." I'm like, "You had someone there on
Molly Mahoney:the thing, make the offer." So s- at times we have pipelines that have,
Molly Mahoney:the drop-off points of all of that.
Molly Mahoney:And I told-- I was showing this to a salesperson and she was like, "Why
Molly Mahoney:would I ever not make an offer?" And I said, "Good point." And we have people
Molly Mahoney:that get scared or they, they pull out, in the middle of it somehow and
Molly Mahoney:then think they need to do it later.
Molly Mahoney:But, there is a such thing as a two-call offer, and that's
Molly Mahoney:gonna slow down your conversions,
Vit Muller:I think what might work there, if somebody's less confident about
Vit Muller:pitching an offer on the call, is why not put the offer ahead of the call on
Vit Muller:the thank you page so that by the time somebody shows up on a call, well, A,
Vit Muller:it could be a really good qualification for a drop-off if they, weren't in
Vit Muller:that, if they didn't have that much, investment ready to allocate to that,
Vit Muller:then, like it, you saved yourself a time.
Vit Muller:there's a guy named Taki Moore in, Queensland and it's… Right, right.
Vit Muller:So he's got a thing called, the webinar that doesn't matter.
Vit Muller:It's like a strategy, so it's more of a, like webinars.
Vit Muller:So people book, attend the webinars, but he figured his market of set coaches who
Vit Muller:are, like earning a million and plus, they are also happen to be people who are a
Vit Muller:lot more busy and picky with their time.
Vit Muller:So they may have booked for a webinar, but they don't always show up.
Vit Muller:So he made this diagram.
Vit Muller:He's "See all these people who show up?
Vit Muller:Great that they are there, but they're not always my market, so they coming
Vit Muller:because they may be at a starting point or in the middle trying to get to that
Vit Muller:ladder, further up in the ladder in the revenue, but they're not my clients yet.
Vit Muller:So I'm gonna serve them and I'm gonna turn them into my clients later." But
Vit Muller:those then show up. Those that don't show up, they actually qualify themselves by
Vit Muller:that action of not showing up. So what he's done is on the thank you page, as
Vit Muller:soon as you register for his webinar, it's like, "Hey, by the way, we're
Vit Muller:gonna cover all this on the webinar.
Vit Muller:It's gonna be 60, 90 minutes and it's happening this day.
Vit Muller:Looking forward to see you.
Vit Muller:But by the way, I know, you might be busy.
Vit Muller:If you want to take a shortcut, just click here."
Molly Mahoney:Ja
Vit Muller:And that just takes you to watch a video and then, purchase.
Vit Muller:So for those that are like at that level, time becomes even more important, right?
Molly Mahoney:So I love that so much, and it's so funny, I had not heard
Molly Mahoney:Taki was doing this, but I, I-- there's so many things that we do similarly.
Molly Mahoney:I love what he does so much.
Molly Mahoney:I always say that what you do around your video is more
Molly Mahoney:important than what's in the video.
Molly Mahoney:So similar to what I said before, even if they don't watch the video,
Molly Mahoney:if they've seen the fact that it's happening, it gives them that, that trust.
Molly Mahoney:And we actually did a, a thing where we put a call booking link on the thank you
Molly Mahoney:page, and I booked 80 calls in one month.
Molly Mahoney:It was a disaster because I was the only one doing calls, and I was like,
Molly Mahoney:"How am I gonna keep up with this?" So this is, super secret, and I don't
Molly Mahoney:usually share this on podcasts and things like that, but I'm gonna say
Molly Mahoney:this 'cause it's, it ties in so well.
Molly Mahoney:We put a button that says, "If you want a secret shortcut, send me a
Molly Mahoney:DM." So it just takes me straight to a DM conversation, and I would much
Molly Mahoney:rather have a Facebook DM convo.
Molly Mahoney:Sometimes we do it via an automated conversation on a business page,
Molly Mahoney:but sometimes it literally just goes to my personal DM. I can
Molly Mahoney:pre-qualify and make them the offer in the DM for our mastermind
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:I'm just thinking some, there's so many different ways to test.
Vit Muller:Like for example, if they booked that call and it was like in a couple days ahead,
Vit Muller:and then you had automation that cancels that call on them, and then you have an
Vit Muller:outbound voice AI that rings them and say, "Hey, here is, Molly's AI assistant.
Vit Muller:She just wanted to call-- She just wanted me to call you and say she's
Vit Muller:really sorry she had to cancel on you.
Vit Muller:She's got something really important.
Vit Muller:But hey, she just wanted me to, speak to you now if you're free, and then, I
Vit Muller:can then pass on that detail, to her."
Molly Mahoney:That
Vit Muller:ways to test out,
Molly Mahoney:I love it.
Vit Muller:Sneaky, yeah.
Molly Mahoney:I love it
Vit Muller:you've mentioned a couple of, amazing things that you have, and I know
Vit Muller:we've talked about it before we jump on this ca- on this call, that we're gonna
Vit Muller:put together, an offer for the guys.
Vit Muller:Did you wanna talk about the offer a little bit
Molly Mahoney:sure.
Molly Mahoney:Yeah, so I've got two really awesome things for you, or
Molly Mahoney:maybe even… Yeah, we got two.
Molly Mahoney:We got two.
Molly Mahoney:They're really good.
Molly Mahoney:we may sneak a few more onto this page after we talk later.
Molly Mahoney:But the two that I would love to share with you, the first is
Molly Mahoney:that perfect person profile app.
Molly Mahoney:Because if you don't know who you're actually speaking
Molly Mahoney:to, none of this matters.
Molly Mahoney:You have to know not just their pain points, but we love to
Molly Mahoney:get into their tickle points.
Molly Mahoney:We get into all sorts of things, and so we give you this really juicy, full
Molly Mahoney:detailed avatar of that perfect person.
Molly Mahoney:So I'm gonna give you that perfect person profile app totally for free.
Molly Mahoney:And then also, I didn't even tell you this, but I will sneak a half
Molly Mahoney:off coupon for our content club also, so you can get in at the content
Molly Mahoney:club for the first month half off.
Molly Mahoney:And in the content club, as I already mentioned, we help you to create content
Molly Mahoney:that actually converts into real clients and, customers, and it's so much fun.
Molly Mahoney:We have an awesome tool called the Spotlight Engine that you get in there.
Molly Mahoney:It's, it's really fun, really awesome, and it works
Vit Muller:Brilliant.
Vit Muller:So guys, I've put together a landing page for you where you can
Vit Muller:find out more about Molly's offer.
Vit Muller:so just head over to highlevelexperience.com/molly, M-O-L-L-Y.
Vit Muller:highlevelexperience.com/molly, M-O-L-L-Y, and you can learn about Molly's offer
Vit Muller:there that she just talked about.
Vit Muller:now we have some amazing sponsors that, look after us and help
Vit Muller:this make the show possible.
Vit Muller:So make sure you check out their offers as well.
Vit Muller:they are below the fold, and if you scroll there, you'll also see
Vit Muller:about, a couple of my little lead magnets that I've got available.
Vit Muller:There's one that I know has been quite popular over the years.
Vit Muller:it's a simple spreadsheet.
Vit Muller:it doesn't sound that fancy, but the, the purpose of the spreadsheet is what makes
Vit Muller:it really valuable, which is-- And again, this is for those of you who are on a 497,
Vit Muller:who are reselling HighLevel, and you want to figure out how to set up your markups
Vit Muller:and understand, the figures properly.
Vit Muller:I've put them all in that spreadsheet, and it's a live spreadsheet that
Vit Muller:we actually use in our agency, so it is pretty much accurate.
Vit Muller:we keep it up to date.
Vit Muller:So you're talking, how much does it cost me to resell, AI
Vit Muller:Studio, per generated page?
Vit Muller:How much does it cost me per SMS message based on a country I'm in?
Vit Muller:What if I-- what if a customer sends ten-- sends 100 of
Vit Muller:these, how much would that be?
Vit Muller:So you've got it all in a spreadsheet.
Vit Muller:There's a lot of different formulas, and it's all inter-interconnected,
Vit Muller:different tabs on it as well.
Vit Muller:so that's all
Molly Mahoney:That is so valuable, by the way, because that was another
Molly Mahoney:huge mistake that I made when I first started, offering HighLevel.
Molly Mahoney:That's why we started doing that dollar, so that I made sure I
Molly Mahoney:wasn't, like, drowning in those little, teeny-tiny things.
Molly Mahoney:So I think that's such a valuable, spreadsheet.
Molly Mahoney:I can't wait to check it out.
Vit Muller:One really important thing to consider on that topic is because you
Vit Muller:get charged and then you're charging your customers through your Stripe for their
Vit Muller:account wallet, and then HighLevel rebills you, you have to account for Stripe fees.
Molly Mahoney:Aha
Vit Muller:And also if you're like in Aus- in, in Australia, we charge 10%
Vit Muller:GST if it's an Australian customer.
Vit Muller:So if you have a markup, let's say you're selling a phone system, on a minute of
Vit Muller:a call and you set your markup as 1.1x, then you're actually at a loss because
Vit Muller:10% is GST and then a Stripe fee, so you're actually losing, so you'd be
Vit Muller:better off not rebilling on that one.
Vit Muller:that's why,
Molly Mahoney:That's why everyone should go get this,
Molly Mahoney:this strat- this lead magnet from
Vit Muller:that's why I get it.
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:So highlevelexperience.com/molly.
Vit Muller:Yeah, exactly.
Vit Muller:And you can learn about all the amazing offers, that
Vit Muller:they're, are there on the page.
Vit Muller:Molly, there's just so much more I wanna talk to you about, so I know you're
Vit Muller:busy, but, it'd be really cool to get you back in for another one in a couple of
Molly Mahoney:man, I would love that.
Molly Mahoney:That'd be awesome.
Molly Mahoney:So thanks so much for having me.
Molly Mahoney:The-- Also, your setup is so cool with, your frames and all this
Molly Mahoney:magic that you have going on.
Molly Mahoney:I love it.
Vit Muller:Yeah, it's been popular.
Vit Muller:Yeah, I've got to update it actually.
Vit Muller:It's, we got, we got-- we've just hit episode 100, and
Vit Muller:this is episode 106, so yeah.
Vit Muller:one final, one final question for you, and then I'll give you a, a
Vit Muller:little bit of extra two-minute window you can share whatever you wanna
Vit Muller:share or say whatever you wanna say.
Vit Muller:But a hot take time, this one, is what is a popular all-in-one marketing
Vit Muller:belief you think is flat out wrong?
Vit Muller:And what should agencies believe instead if they want clients begging for more?
Molly Mahoney:Okay, and we've talked about this a little bit, but especially
Molly Mahoney:with the AI agents and, sorry, like the voice agents and the chat agents,
Molly Mahoney:I know how cool we think it is.
Molly Mahoney:I think it's really cool also.
Molly Mahoney:But cool does not sell as well as actually providing a result.
Molly Mahoney:So all the time I hear from people who are like, "Oh, I waived the
Molly Mahoney:setup fee, because I know they're gonna think it's so valuable.
Molly Mahoney:I know they're gonna think it's so cool." And then they build all this stuff, and
Molly Mahoney:then the people, the business owner ghosts them on the back end, and now they've
Molly Mahoney:put all this effort in because cool is cool, but cool is not enough to actually
Molly Mahoney:close a deal or create stickiness.
Molly Mahoney:So you've got to make sure that you are skilled in communicating the real value
Molly Mahoney:of these things that we think are so cool.
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:And things that are taking your time, you should put a price tag on them.
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:'Cause otherwise it's never gonna be a scalable business.
Molly Mahoney:No.
Molly Mahoney:And then you'll just feel bad, which is not good.
Vit Muller:No, nobody wins.
Vit Muller:It's a real, it's a real issue, I tend to do that sometimes.
Vit Muller:I just want, I over-deliver and,
Molly Mahoney:I know.
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:I'm getting better at it, but yeah.
Vit Muller:Anyway, Molly, well, it was really awesome to have you, on the show.
Vit Muller:we-- you've just so many value bombs here, so I go- I hope that
Vit Muller:you guys have been taking notes.
Vit Muller:if there was something that you'd wanna leave, the guys with that,
Vit Muller:that are still with us listening, now would be a good time to share
Vit Muller:your last, sort of last thoughts
Molly Mahoney:Yeah.
Molly Mahoney:so I started the world's first AI content membership in 2021,
Molly Mahoney:about two years before ChatGPT.
Molly Mahoney:So I have been teaching AI for a very long time.
Molly Mahoney:I love AI.
Molly Mahoney:I believe it is changing the world, and it's not as important
Molly Mahoney:as who you are as a human being.
Molly Mahoney:So really figure out, like ident- it's one thing to say show up
Molly Mahoney:with confidence, but you have to actually be able to truly understand
Molly Mahoney:what it is that makes you awesome.
Molly Mahoney:And so take that time to figure that out and then show up.
Molly Mahoney:So just really put yourself out there, build relationships, talk to humans
Vit Muller:Yeah.
Vit Muller:And guys, just working out in the gym, building your biceps requires working
Vit Muller:out frequently and, do the reps. I think confidence is just the same.
Vit Muller:you gotta do the reps, and that's how you build the confidence.
Vit Muller:and with, confidence comes with experience.
Vit Muller:So yeah, all that good stuff.
Vit Muller:Molly, thank you so much.
Vit Muller:it's been really impactful.
Vit Muller:I was really looking forward to have you on the show and, you've delivered.
Vit Muller:once again, thank you.
Vit Muller:It's been awesome, and I wish you all the best on the rest of the day you got on.
Vit Muller:Guys, thank you so much for listening as well to today's episode
Vit Muller:on the High Level Experience.
Vit Muller:If you've enjoyed today's episode, then please do me a favor, share it with a
Vit Muller:fellow agency owner or a HighLevel that you think would benefit from listening.
